Basketball Recap: West Field Comes Up Short

West Field(Opens in a new window) was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woods Cross Wildcats(Opens in a new window). That's two games in a row now that the Longhorns have lost by exactly six points.

West Field now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Woods Cross, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, West Field will be playing at home against Viewmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Woods Cross, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bountiful at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
